I was on TV, what?!

So maybe about a month ago, a small TV crew came into my Amity to shoot a 5 min promo for us. Me and one of the Japanese teachers (JT) Miho were the only ones available at the time, so we were chosen to be the stars of the info-mercial. I was given a list of questions they were gonna ask the day before so that i could prepare my answers, I even made myself little note cards. But they ended up talking to the JT for so long, they only ended up asking me one (pretty stupid) question.

Since I did a lot of public speaking in grade school, I wasn't at all nervous. Though all the other JTs (even the ones who weren't being interviewed) were in a frenzy. It was really cute. While the 3:00 class period was in session the camera crew wandered from room to room getting shots of all the different teachers doing thier thing. Which was all kinds of distracting to my students. And I had to really make sure they knew this stuff, because after the class, the crew came into mine and we did a mock version with the host pretending to be one of my students. It was really weird, but kind of fun. My students for that class were surprisingly well behaved for the cameras, which was a relief.

It was a really fun experience and not one I am likely to forget any time soon. Check it out!
